Our sisters and brothers from AFSCME Local 829 recently held an action to call on Sequoia Hospital executives to stop putting profits over the people who provide patient care to the community.

The workers have been in contract negotiations with Sequoia Hospital, a Dignity Health medical facility, for several months.

But management refuses to agree on proposals that would show the hospital cares about its employees, who are simply asking for a fair return on their work.
