Shane currently serves as the Organizing Director, leading in the execution of Council 57's internal growth strategies and external campaigns. Shane is a Seneca Native American originally from Upstate New York who has spent over a decade organizing Unions and Political Elections. Prior to joining Council 57, Shane led in the formation of the Art Institute of Chicago Workers United (AICWU) with Council 31, and has experience organizing workers in Higher Education, Cultural work, Health Care, Nursing Homes, Non-Profits, and the Public Sector.
