Gary Ferraris

Union Representative

Gary joined the AFSCME family in 2008 as a member leader at the City of Santa Clara. He served as a shop steward and found his passion in advocating for better working conditions and compensation for working families. His relentless advocacy has not only inspired but also motivated many within AFSCME. Fueled by this passion, Gary has served in various leadership positions within AFSCME, including president of Local 101, Treasurer of Council 57, delegate to the South Bay Labor Council, and currently Union Representative.

Gary holds a bachelor’s degree in human resources and organizational Behavior from Thomas Edison State University and has attended numerous seminars on labor law, safety regulations, and arbitration. Gary represents and empowers members of AFSCME Local 2703 in California’s Central Valley.
