Anthony Walters joined AFSCME Council 57 as a Union Representative in June 2024.  He has previously worked for UFCW, SEIU, and the AFL-CIO.  He graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Ethnic Studies, where he participated in student government and competed in Track & Field.  Anthony represents AFSCME Local 829 chapters and enjoys the challenge of advocating for union members in grievance arbitration and negotiations.  Anthony believes strongly in working-class solidarity and the power of organizing to achieve better conditions for workers.
