Rideshare Drivers United, the rapidly growing organization representing over 4,000 drivers in the L.A. Metro area and that organized the largest U.S. strike of Lyft and Uber drivers to date, has called for an Uber/Lyft strike for the L.A. Metro area on May 8. There will also be protests being held in San Diego and San Francisco (noon at Uber headquarters, 1455 Market St., San Francisco).

Drivers' pay is at the center of this fight. Drivers' demands include fair wages, community standards, a voice on the job and the right to organize—all included in their Drivers Bill of Rights, vote on by their driver members.
