We Are Striking for Quality Jobs

We are on strike because it is time for some dignity and respect for the workers providing world-class care.

We continue to lose high-quality and experienced staff to other health care facilities because Sequoia Hospital is unwilling to pay a competitive salary to match our current economy. Not only does this mean more positions go unfilled and existing staff must work double shifts and extra time just to cover them, it also means that time and resources must be taken to train new employees who will take years to gain the expertise of the staff walking out the door week after week.

This is about the health and safety of the Sequoia Hospital community. We will stay on strike until the change we need happens because our community deserves nothing less.
