The newly elected leadership of ICEA/AFSCME Local 315 has made communication a top priority. To this end we have begun developing a web site for members. Initially, the site will be accessible through a link on the AFSCME Council 57 web site. Our concept for the ICEA/AFSCME Local 315 web site will be to cover labor relations with Inyo County. We intend to post the contract, the basic employee relations documents, (Personnel Rules, Employer-Employee Relations Ordinance, policies, etc.) information regarding negotiations, grievances and current events. The site will contain Union meeting agendas and minutes, information on elections and special events. We also intend to develop an e-mail directory of members to enable communication not only with the leadership but also with fellow county workers. We will also post information about local issues, county politics and finances and items of interest to county employees, post photographs of Local meetings, events. And, for the benefit of our members and others who visit the site, photographs of the most beautiful and diverse area of the planet-Inyo County. We welcome articles, positions and photographs from all members INYO
COUNTY EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION
AFSCME LOCAL 315 The Inyo County Employees Association/ AFSCME Local 315 represents employees of Inyo County. In 1996 the association affiliated with the American Federation of State County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) and was chartered as Local 315. Among those represented are clerical, technical, parks, roads, social services, and probation employees. ICEA/AFSCME is governed by a constitution and administered by an Executive Board. The Board consists of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Past President and Directors. The principal officers are elected at large while each region elects a director. Additionally, ICEA/AFSCME has committees who perform specific roles in the organization. The newly elected leadership of ICEA/AFSCME Local 315 has made communication a top priority. This web site is a first step in reaching that goal. Initially, the site will be accessible through a link on the AFSCME Council 57 web site.
